A Coordinating "Support Project to the Development and Implementation of the MCA Mali" was set up by the Government with the financial support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). An MCA Mali Coordinator was appointed by decision of the Prime Minister. His Missions are:

- Act as Interface between the Government and MCC, in particular, in terms of facilitation of comprehension and negotiation within the framework of the MCA process

- Contribute to the proper performance of all the works and surveys contributing to the finalization of the proposal of Mali

- Encourage and coordinate the participation of the various actors in the process, in particular, the private sector and the civil society

- Ensure the UNDP project resources management "Support to MCA- Mali"
- Ensure the permanence of MCA- Mali

- Ensure broad information about the proposal of Mali through adequate channels including the NICT.

- Carry out any other task within the framework of the success of the process

The Coordination, helped by National Consultants, leads the technical studies necessary to the implementation of the Proposal of Mali. The Proposal of Mali is a coherent formulation of actions necessary to attain the economic growth and poverty reduction objective, as expressed during permanent dialogues with all the representatives of the economic and social actors. Its implementation falls under the achievement of the objectives of the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) and of the Objectives of the Millennium for Development (OMD).
